Special: A Reddit Conversation – Rapid Q&A

Feb 28, 2010

Last month, I was asked to submit an AMA (Ask Me Anything) topic to the website aggregator Reddit. This in turn created a temporary forum where people were able to pose questions that might be shorter than what someone feels comfortable asking by e-mail. It generated 112 comments – about half of which are my responses or replies to my responses, so ~50 questions – on a variety of introductory topics, some of which readers of my monthly write-ups might find useful.

(Update: I later deleted that Reddit account. Consequently most of my posts on that AMA are now marked as coming from “[deleted]”. Sorry if this makes the exchanges more difficult to follow!)
