Hobby game projects created by HobbyGameDev readers and visitors, plus a few that I contributed to. My other projects are available via ChrisDeLeon.com.
Welcome to HobbyGameDev!
I’m Chris DeLeon and this is my blog about Hobby Game Development. Entries include details about my projects (games and game development writing), fielding reader questions about videogame making, and occasional tutorials or example code. I’m continually striving to learn more and trying to create new, unusual things.
I was honored in Forbes 30 Under 30 for my work on iOS Entertainment apps (including an IndieCade 2010 finalist, and Topple), but have also done videogame design professionally for EA, Will Wright’s Stupid Fun Club, and as an establishing member of a start-up acquired by PopCap. For games and more, see my portfolio.

If asked to pinpoint the one individual who has had the strongest impact the path that I've chosen today, I'd reply Chris DeLeon in an instant. Without Chris, I, and many others, may very well be dreaming of designing games, rather than centering a career around it. Chris passes on his lifelong passion for game development to everyone he works with. His work ethic is unparalleled, and his dedication to self-improvement, either his own or of his colleagues, is exemplary.
